Social justice and direction are very much connected together if we think of creating a change in the entire world. Without leadership and different kinds of leaders, social justice would be a lot more difficult to achieve with any success.

This can be translated in various ways, Lao is “The Father of Taoism” and contains many metaphoric writings dating back to ancient China. For me this shows the value of having different kinds of leaders and the perfect kinds of leaders involved. I find this quote interesting but I don’t think it means the leader who didn’t receive credit necessarily needs that charge. Bringing together different kinds of leaders may sometimes have the impact of a single person taking the credit or becoming the surface of the success or alter.

Some leaders don’t need the credit and want other people to get the praise. The “best” leader meaning someone doesn’t care about the recognition, because his job is done and that’s all they have to feel accomplished. This can relate to social justice because most if not all leaders working towards any social justice aren’t working for themselves and what they can get from it. But are working to alter the quality of life of others in addition to themselves or their surroundings. Social justice requires more than 1 pioneer and different styles or forms of leadership. Leaders who enable others to become leaders? A group of people that are different from one individual who share a common aim?

There are various sorts of leaders and fashions. Change can not be made with a single chief doing everything to make it happen. It can not be done with no followers which become leaders and bring more people in. We need different kinds of people with unique perspectives or mindsets to bring great ideas and knowledge. Today introverts aren’t considered ordinary leaders, introverts can be successful leaders but in another way. In some scenarios, an introverted leader wouldn’t be appropriate and there are occasions where those extroverted skills are crucial. Introverts tend to find themselves in leadership positions less frequently but most are capable of this job. With social justice, having introverted leaders involved is essential, due to their capacity to listen.

To summarize, yes leaders come in all sizes and shapes, some lack certain attributes, but it doesn’t automatically mean that person would not be a successful leader. A good leader doesn’t need to have every quality required for success. The best leaders are those who recognize their flaws and surround themselves with other people who have the missing quality(s). Use the strength of the others, surround themselves with powerful optimistic people and give recognition to those deserving.
